I think I need to work on his neck, ears and eye rinkles more.

I think I'm finished with this guy.  It was a fun project.  All the character lighting and color was done in different zbrush renders that were comped together in photoshop.

I have a lot of lighting passes that I'm going to play with to make the different materials look more realistic. I just dropped a dirty texture over the whole thing to give you the feel I'm looking for. Maybe I'll get this done tomorrow. :)

Joy and Tom Studios just finished painting all 6 casts of my Grandpa Rice Sculpt. I can't believe how great they came out. I don't think that I've ever worked on anything that was this special to me.

I want to create model that shows how I think my son imagines himself while playing super heroes. He often acts like he has the abilities of several super heroes all at once. He specifically likes Superman, Batman and Iron man the most. I'm starting with his head.

Joy and Tom Studios are working on 7 casts of my Grandpa sculpt and are even going to paint them to match the original I created. It is so cool to see them sitting on the table there.

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to design Joy and Tom Studio's new logo.  This was a really fun project.

Grandpa Sculpt Post 10.

It's funny that my last post of Grandpa's Sculpt would end on 10.  I couldn't afford to make a real bronze out of it so I painted it instead.  Someday I would like to get copies made and give them to my family.  For now it will just have to set on my bookshelf.
