Grandpa Sculpt Post 12.

Joy and Tom Studios just finished painting all 6 casts of my Grandpa Rice Sculpt. I can't believe how great they came out. I don't think that I've ever worked on anything that was this special to me.

Special thanks to Joy and Tom Studios...you folks rock!

Super Emit Post 02.

I'm happy enough with the face to move onto the body. This is just of quick shot of where I am with the shirt.

Super Emit Post 01.

I want to create model that shows how I think my son imagines himself while playing super heroes. He often acts like he has the abilities of several super heroes all at once. He specifically likes Superman, Batman and Iron man the most. I'm starting with his head.

Grandpa Sculpt Post 11.

Joy and Tom Studios are working on 7 casts of my Grandpa sculpt and are even going to paint them to match the original I created. It is so cool to see them sitting on the table there.

Joy and Tom Studio Website.

I also designed Joy and Tom Studios website. http://joyandtomstudios.com/

I've attached a reduced version of the two pages I completed for them. All the sculptures except for the logo were created by Joy and Tom Studios.

Joy and Tom Studios logo.

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to design Joy and Tom Studio's new logo.  This was a really fun project.

Grandpa Sculpt Post 10.

It's funny that my last post of Grandpa's Sculpt would end on 10.  I couldn't afford to make a real bronze out of it so I painted it instead.  Someday I would like to get copies made and give them to my family.  For now it will just have to set on my bookshelf.

Grandpa Sculpt Post 9.

This is just some photoshop work to see how I want to paint it. I always envisioned a bronzed look with a steal color.

Grandpa Sculpt Post 8.

I took some better pictures.

Grandpa Sculpt Post 7.

After sitting on my shelf for several months...I've finally devoted time to finishing the sculpture of my Grandpa Rice. I've put in several hours since my last post. I think it is ready for baking!
